Waste transportation contractors, local businesses with grease traps, municipalities and waste treatment facilities around the state of South Carolina are reeling from the impact of recent illegal dumping of PCB contaminated wastes. The Associated Press published an article today addressing the issue and made note of widespread contamination problems that are being uncovered. This has led DHEC to enact emergency regulations prohibiting farmers and landfills from using and sludge found to have PCB's present. Access is proud to support all clients who are affected by this issue and will continue to provide testing services for these compounds which were banned in 1979 but continue to be an ongoing source of environmental contamination.
Access Analytical has entered two company sponsored teams in the upcoming USMC Mud Run coming up in October! We are all excited about this event and are looking forward to the challenge that it offers. We are also very proud to support the Mud Run as proceeds go to service members wounded in the line of duty and the families of the fallen. We will be sure to post team pictures after the event!!
